according to experts at Harvard
is more dangerous than drinking
its own demise
we’ll have no Passover
no opening of the tomb
science is not enough
nor is ceremony
we have no sacred trust
we must all be

by the Rev. Dr. Steven Epperson, at the Unitarian Church of Vancouver in 2003.
The last stanza is my own observation.
